MTR Madras Sambar Powder
This sambhar powder has the unique Madras taste. This convenient blend of all the spices required for sambar simply needs to be added to fresh dal and vegetables for an authentic avored curry. Instructions are provided on the pack. Sambar is enjoyed with rice, idli or dosa.

How to Prepare:
- Cook 250g of vegetables of your choice. Keep aside.
- Cook 2 1/2 tbsp (450g) of toor dal in 500ml of water with 1/2 tsp cooking oil and a pinch of turmeric.
- Grind 2 1/2 tsp (12g) of MTR Madras Sambhar Powder with grated coconut and a little jaggery (if desired).
- Mix this with a cooked dal.
- Add cooked vegetables, tamarind extract and salt to taste. Boil for 5 minutes.
- Prepare the seasoning of 1/2 tsp mustard and curry leaves in 1/2 tsp of cooking oil. Add to Sambar.
